Cancellation Policy for Tour Packages

This section applies to our pre-defined tour packages (e.g., Navagraha Tour, Kumbakonam Tour, Chola Triangle Tour).

To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be made according to the following timeline:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the tour start time: You will receive a full (100%) refund of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellations made between 48 to 72 hours before the tour start time: You will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount. A 50% cancellation fee will be incurred.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour start time: No refund will be provided. The booking amount will be forfeited.

Specific Cancellation Policies for Other Services

  • Car Rentals (for custom trips):
    • Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the rental start time will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start time are non-refundable.
  • Ritual & Pooja Bookings:
    • For services where we facilitate poojas or rituals (including on-behalf poojas), the booking is strictly non-refundable once confirmed. This is because payments are made directly to the priests or temple authorities to procure materials and book their time.
  • Airport Transfers:
    • Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable.

How to Cancel a Booking

To cancel your tour or service, you must send a cancellation request via email to our official customer care email address. Please include your booking confirmation details in the email.

Cancellations made via phone call or any other method will not be considered valid until confirmed by an email from our side. The time of cancellation will be determined by the time stamp on the email received by us.

Refund Processing

  • All eligible refunds will be processed back to the original mode of payment (e.g., bank account, UPI) used at the time of booking.
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund amount to reflect in your account after the cancellation has been processed and approved.

No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up at the designated pickup point at the scheduled time without prior cancellation, it will be considered a “no-show,” and no refund will be provided for any service.

Changes to This Policy

My Divine Tours reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
