This is a shared tour where you book an individual seat and travel with other people. A private tour provides an exclusive vehicle just for your family. This group tour is more economical but has a fixed schedule.
Our standard pickup/drop-off points are Thanjavur New Bus Stand, Thanjavur Railway Junction, and Thanjavur Old Bus Stand. Please confirm your nearest point at the time of booking.
The time at each temple is fixed to ensure the entire circuit can be completed in one day. The duration is generally sufficient for a standard darshan.
This tour operates on a fixed and tight schedule which may be challenging for some. A private tour, which allows for a more relaxed pace, might be a more suitable option.
A 6:00 AM start is highly recommended to comfortably cover all nine temples without rushing, especially considering the afternoon closure times. A later start is possible but may risk missing darshan at one or more temples. Please discuss any specific timing requests with us at the time of booking.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the tour start time will receive a full refund of the advance.
Cancellations made between 24-48 hours will incur a 50% deduction of the advance amount.
No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour start time.
